Notes on SVG:

   * Note that the SVG is hand-written and will become messier if
     edited by a tool such as Inkscape.

   * The margins can be adjusted by changing the "viewBox" attribute of
     the root; it controls the visible area of the logical infinite
     canvas and is of the form <left> <top> <width> <height>.

   * The background is transparent and so it will disappear on a black
     background; this can be changed by adding a white <rect> to the
     image.

   * If you want to rerender it to PNG/GIF to create variations or
     different sizes, Batik has a good batch tool for this:
     <http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/batik/tools/rasterizer.html>
     (The existing size was chosen to be similar in height to the logo
     currently on tahoe-lafs.org.)

   * If you render it, make sure you have the Futura font or the layout
     will be more or less off depending on font metrics.
