Also I added this patch to the pyutil library but not yet into  
Tahoe.  It says: if your sys.platform string is not recognized, then  
instead of raising UnsupportedPlatformException try using BSD-style  
"ifconfig".  If you get something resembling a dotted-quad IPv4  
address from that, be happy, else raise UnsupportedPlatformException.
