By the way, if you can contribute a CentOS buildslave then we'll add
it to the set of buildslaves which get automatically tested on every
source checkin:

In the long run, that's the best way to ensure that Tahoe is always
working on CentOS.

If you want to do this, then just install buildbot and write to me and
I'll send you a name and password for your buildbot to register with
the allmydata.org buildmaster.
