[tahoe-dev] Troubles with `deep-check' in 1.5.0

Hello,

I just upgraded the NixOS package to 1.5.0.  After a quick test, I hit
the following exception with `deep-check':

IMO this should rather be a human readable message.  What do you think?

I ran it a second time and it just sit there "forever" without a word
(actually I waited for ~5 minutes).
