That's a bug. My guess is that the add-lease code is causing the  
servermap update to return the wrong thing (like None), so that the  
subsequent Retrieve call doesn't get the list of versions that it was  
expecting. I'm boarding a plane now, but I'll see if I can look at the  
code later on today.
