 Just an update.. my patch for this will have bitrotted in the last 5
 months.. enough trunk code has changed that it will no longer apply
 cleanly. I estimate it would take me about 3 or 4 days to bring it back
 up-to-date.

 It is still quite blocked on ECDSA (#331). I can do about half the
 updating work without it (I'd have to create a fake ecdsa module and guess
 at what the eventual API will be).
