You can either run the Tahoe-LAFS gateway on your laptop (this is  
really the recommended practice -- it is what all users of  
allmydata.com's Windows backup client do, for example), or you can  
use HTTPS to securely connect to the Tahoe-LAFS gateway operated by  
your company.
