Comment:

 This is one of those issues which can cause more trouble for future
 releases if we don't do something about it in the current release, so I
 hope to address it for Tahoe-v1.5 (ASAP).  (I guess I intend the keyword
 "backwards-compatibility" to flag such issues.)
