Comment:

 This is a "backwards-compatibility" issue.  Doing the easy and lazy thing
 now could make things harder for future versions of Tahoe.  Adding the
 "backwards-compatibility" Keyword and leaving this ticket in the "1.5.0"
 Milestone.  Help!?
