It doesn't seem to be searching the testgrid, but instead searches
http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/deps/tahoe-deps/, which I downloaded
to a local tahoe-deps directory to speed it up.

This is what I have in my setup.cfg:
find_links = misc/dependencies tahoe-deps ../tahoe-deps
http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/deps/tahoe-deps/
There is no link to the testgrid in the list, but there is a link to
http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/deps/tahoe-deps/ and before that to
../tahoe-deps which I ended up using (downloading everything in
http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/deps/tahoe-deps/ manually and putting
them there, because allmydata downloads are very slow, and I couldn't
tell if the setup was running properly or not).
