[tahoe-dev] About tahoe-gateway question

Hi Walter,

  Currently our project only supports back end storage managed by the
tahoe-lafs node itself. Using alternative back-ends has been discussed
quite a bit and is tracked by ticket #999
(http://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/tahoe-lafs/ticket/999).

  Several people have successfully run storage grids on EC2-based
virtual machines and using the attached (non-S3) storage.
