[tahoe-dev] I advertise Tahoe-LAFS to the unhosted project.

There's this new project called "unhosted" to make decentralized web
apps. I don't understand the technical details, but I like the fact
that a lot of different people are coming together on their mailing
list just because they are excited about the *idea* of decentralized
web apps. (Also they have a beautiful logo.) I posted a description of
Tahoe-LAFS there along with a link to my blog:

Also worth noting is that couchdb programmers are working on a notion
that they call "couch apps", which are very similar to my notion of
decentralized web apps. Here are two examples:

https://github.com/maxogden/couchappspora

It would be interesting to see how much of an impedance mismatch there
is between the couchdb API and the Tahoe-LAFS API by attempting to
port "couch apps" like that.

Regards,

Zooko
