 attachment:393status14.dpatch revises the cleaned-up uploader to pass all
 of the tests, and makes some minor code coverage improvements. It needs
 more tests, but I'm going to wait until I get started on IVersion before I
 write them; otherwise, I'll have to rewrite them in a week anyway.
