[tahoe-dev] steps to decommission a node

Is there a wiki page that outlines the steps in decommissioning a node
and redistributing the shares that it was holding.

Specifically, I want to turn off a node that at one time was one of
the only nodes in a small grid (<K servers) so I know that some of
the files stored on it definitely need to be redistributed to the
other nodes in the now much larger grid.

I seem to remember rough instructions coming across the mailing list
at some point but can't find the post. I think it should make it into
a wiki page anyway.

It was something along the lines of:

  * restart node as readonly
  * run a shell script or two that goes the node's shares directory,
    pulling down the file, deleting it from the grid, then
    re-uploading it (this is the part I'm real fuzzy on how to go
    about doing)
  * then shut the node down completely
