Yes. I was just wondering whether part of the bounty could be awarded for
the part of the functionality enabled by SFTP.
Drag-and-drop should be possible if you use a file browser that supports
it for files accessed over SFTP, such as Nautilus or WinSCP, or if you
use sshfs.
An open-source implementation of SMB isn't going to happen any time soon,
if at all. WebDAV support is more likely to happen and would provide
essentially the same functionality (including out-of-the-box file access
via Explorer on Windows), but that's also a lot of work to implement:
