On the note of volunteergrid, I'd love to see some of the configs/notes on
how that was setup (and locked down if anything specific was done) I'm
currently running a node in the testgrid to play with and will want to join
the volunteer grid instead of the testgrid.

That sounds like a good idea, I myself when I was looking at the
documentation I had some problems understanding how things worked. Some more
concrete examples an use cases would be really useful to new users.
