 [source:ticket1233] branch! Compare [http://tahoe-
 lafs.org/buildbot/builders/FreeStorm%20CentOS5-i386/builds/244/steps/test-
 with-fake-dists/logs/stdio before] and [http://tahoe-
 lafs.org/buildbot/builders/FreeStorm%20CentOS5-i386/builds/251/steps/test-
 with-fake-dists/logs/stdio after] those four patches.

 These patches also make a related improvement to behavior: do not download
 a distribution from a remote server if a distribution already present
 locally would suffice.
