[tahoe-dev] thoughts on friendnet distributed backup

As I've mentioned before, I am contemplating a friendnet for backup.
I've collected some of my thoughts, and told zooko via identi.ca.  He
suggested posting here rather than saying I was confused, so I'll
inflict it on the rest of you:

If anyone is doing what I contemplate, I'd appreciate hearing especially
about the backup strategy ('tahoe backup' vs dump), and it would be nice
to have various approaches documented publically, preferably in the
distributed documentation.
