My first impression on reading about the project is, "redundancy and
crypto in the same tool? I wonder if they couldn't be separated".
Certainly not the highest of priorities, but perhaps some method of
composition along the lines of BSD stackable file system, or Linux
VFS, is a good idea. You could break ground on this, since I'm not
aware of any prior work on that kind of stuff for an app layer file
system.
