I have updated sunpal7 (62nlabgfiuzbfseufd2yoymbjzsenbuz) to 1.8.0
release. I just did a few 'tahoe ls' on it after starting, and the
local stats show nothing unremarkable about linuxpal's answer times.
The only response time that jumped out at me was 2.5s, once, from
xflgj7cg.

Perhaps I'm not experienced enough, but I haven't been bothered by 1s
delays -- the problems that seem serious are the fragility of keeping a
directory healthy by repairing it when servers come and go as much as
they do in the pubgrid and I get the dreaded Uncoordinated Write Error.

'tahoe manifest' is hanging on sunpal7. Are we sure there no
endian/wordsize bugs? sunpal7 is sparc64 which is LP64 and big endian,
so I am curious if there has been confirmed success on LP64 and/or big
endian.
