Not really answering your question, but:

Zooko mailed me a Sheevaplug last week for doing some crypto
optimization work on. (On which an initial note remains half-written
but will get sent to the list at some point).

I haven't installed Tahoe yet because I do not have a USB drive with
an external power supply (the only one I have powers itself off the
USB line and I doubt the plug has enough juice to run that reliably),
and even with an extra 1 Gb SD card installed it's a bit cramped
already.

I believe at least one person has run Tahoe on ARM in the past. And
Crypto++, which IIRC is the biggest (non-Python) piece of C/C++ in the
Tahoe stack, seems to be functioning well on the ARMv5.
