[tahoe-dev] Logging howto / sftp with hashed passwords

This is only a stub, so far, it intended audience are Programming Newbies, not Tahoe Newbies.  I'm using Python for years on various platforms, I intend to stay with Mercurial, I don't like Eclipse (I'm happy with SciTE) and already installed tahoe a few times.

I tried to learn to use the logging system, but alas, the logging system needs flogtool, and flogtool is missing a dependency and/or installation.  What do I have to do in order to get a useable flogtool? That was my very question!
  ./flogtool throws

My questions are unrelated to creating extensions using the web api.

Thanks for refering me to all these documents, which I consider quite valuable, after reading through most of them after asking my questions. Unfortunately, the don't answer my questions.
