Yes.  Doing
  tahoe deep-check -d . --add-lease -v OLDtahoe:
in my pubgrid directory (with OLDtahoe: being the alias for the root dir
I created on the old pubgrid long ago), I got the following:

  '<root>': Unhealthy: 8 shares (enc 3-of-10)
  'REDACTED': Unhealthy: some versions are unrecoverable no versions are recoverable
  ERROR: UnrecoverableFileError(no recoverable versions)
  "[Failure instance: Traceback: <class 'allmydata.mutable.common.UnrecoverableFileError'>: no recoverable versions"
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted/internet/base.py:800:runUntilCurrent
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/foolscap/eventual.py:26:_turn
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py:368:callback
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py:464:_startRunCallbacks
  --- <exception caught here> ---
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py:551:_runCallbacks
  /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/site-packages/allmydata/mutable/filenode.py:405:_get_version

(Also, it would be nice for the error to be more verbose, with
  version x: 2 shares (enc 3-of-10)
)
