We have no definite release date. We have code to support filesystem
notifications on Linux and Windows, so we'd probably concentrate on
those platforms for an initial release.

The plan is to change the protocol to solve the current issues with
write consistency when mutable files and directories are shared;
see <https://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/tahoe-lafs/ticket/1755>. The users
would then configure their clients to use the same Tahoe grid and
the same target directory URI.

The Tahoe-LAFS license requires that it be open-sourced (under a GPL
license) within a year of being distributed at the latest. I don't know
for sure whether it will be open-sourced earlier than that, but since
it requires changes in the Tahoe-LAFS client, I imagine it would be.
