with something like Tahoe, if the ux were really good & “intuitive” then
the cloud is not a problem, it is a wonderful thing.

i am every! single! day! infuriated/sad at the state of all our data
handling choices. i have even written my own home grown deduplicating
backup system because nothing matched what i wanted, and i tried many of
the main/top/most famous/common backup systems.

anybody got VC connections? ;-)
