 +1 on [attachment:fix-393-boundary-issues.darcspatch]. The "{{{# XXX: Make
 it so that it won't set this if we're just decoding.}}}" comment is no
 longer necessary, though.

 It's fine by me if you just post patches against the ticket393-MDMF-2
 branch.

 Is there a ticket for the "robust, configurable tahoe-lafs simulator"
 mentioned in the comment for {{{_add_active_peers}}}? I don't think there
 is.
