 What would be awesome is if packagers had an automated test bot which
 would alert them automatically if they made a mistake like this. The NixOS
 project is the only packaging project I know of that has this:

 But aside from encouraging packagers to get automated continuous
 integration, I don't think there's much more we can do, so let's leave
 this ticket closed.
