 This is what people think they want, but I'm really not sure that if we
 gave them it they would be happy. The {{{setup.exe}}} part maybe (most of
 the work to support that was done in #585) -- but wanting to just use a
 drive letter, especially on Windows, is not taking into account all the
 broken performance and semantic assumptions that apps make about
 filesystems that look local actually being local.
