Comment:

 Resolving this as "invalid" inasmuch as it was not-our-bug. It is most
 likely !Ubuntu/Debian's bug. Also, it is claimed that it was fixed, in
 https://bugs.launchpad.net/tahoe-lafs/+bug/410098, although I haven't
 independently verified that claim.
