 Also you might want to try applying that one patchset from linux to change
 the way it manages floating point state during context switches and see if
 that makes the problem go away. I don't know for sure that the linux bug
 doesn't apply on an old Pentium III -- it was just something from, IIRC,
 gregkh's announcement that mentioned "newer CPUs".
