 <elkingrey> I vaguely remember the issue being explained somewhere on the
 site the first time I browsed it, but upon reexamining the FAQ I didn't
 see any explanation.

 <elkingrey> There are over six pages worth, which I'm not going to browse
 through, but the first page doesn't look like it contains the answer.
