Comment:

 I think I might have reproduced this locally (at least using the stock
 OS-X 10.9 python-2.7.5 gives me an "Address already in use" error during
 {{{test_system.SystemTest.test_filesystem}}}, which the Homebrew
 python-2.7.8 does not).

 I'll investigate. I might back out the [f77ec4] patch (the one that avoids
 dropping the Deferred).. I vaguely remember thinking about the differences
 between the normal `tahoe run` environment and the unit test environment
 that could be significant.
