 This causes http://foolscap.lothar.com/trac/ticket/244 (an incident report
 triggers an infinite cascade of further incidents) and we decided the
 simplest solution was to turn it off.

 We considered only turning off the bridging when using a version of
 Twisted that is known to provoke the problem, but considered the bridging
 not to be valuable enough to do this. It will also have the usability
 advantage of one less place where logs can be found.
