 introducerless branch but it also has the upstream/master merged in:
 https://github.com/david415/tahoe-lafs/pull/8

 this is diffed against upstream/master
 https://github.com/tahoe-lafs/tahoe-lafs/pull/260

 further code review should be conducted against one of these pull requests
 and not an older one
