 OK i've made those corrections. Although I think my unit tests need a bit
 of work. I found that the nickname was not propagated into the
 announcement for some reason.

 I was thinking that instead of having a cache expirey policy we can just
 replace the old cache file once we connect to the introducer. What do you
 think of this?
