 The `scripts/tahoe_create_alias.py` script calls the HTTP `POST` to
 `uri?t=mkdir` to create an unlinked directory and responds with the write
 cap. After that the given alias is added to the
 `/path/to/node_directory/private/aliases` file.

 It would be nice to have a web API for doing it so that external programs
 like magic-folder can use it.
