 I'll need to look into this when I have a bit more brain, but as a quick
 check, does zope.interface have the same behavior? If so, maybe we can
 piggyback off what the [https://github.com/Shoobx/mypy-zope mypy zope
 plugin] is already doing to support that.

 Otherwise, I agree that option 3 is the best choice, probably by
 explicitly disabling specific checks on a line-by-line basis. My only
 hesitancy about doing that would be if it impedes the effectiveness of
 mypy elsewhere in the code.
