[volunteergrid2-l] bender was rebooted / PLUS : lease duration setting discussion

Just to let you know:
bender (*.rosenkeller.org) has just been rebooted for maintenance
reasons (kernel and other security-relevant OS updates). It's back
online, and disruptions to all services (stats gatherer, storage node,
uploader) should have lasted less than two minutes.
That said... it just brought this back on my mind: did we reach any
final conclusion concerning the expire.override_lease_duration setting
yet? The original setting was 365 days (which is still set here), but
there was a discussion to lower it to 90 days or so.
Unless there already has been a consensus (in other words: correct me if
I'm wrong, I may have just missed/forgotten it), I hereby propose 100
days. This is a nice round number, and it's 3 "long" months + a grace
period of one week. It should allow anyone, with any tool, to configure
things correctly, without risking too much, while still keeping that
emergency period if something goes horribly wrong.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Chris
