[volunteergrid2-l] a lot of servers are down

I can't speak for anyone else, but my node was down for a few days recently
due to power problems. No problems since yesterday, though.

A higher level answer to your question might be: the process typically used
to install and configure tahoe does not incorporate installing a system to
restart the daemon after it stops running unexpectedly and, when the user
has arranged such a system manually, it usually does not result in some low
latency notification to the server administrator (e.g. email, sms) when a
restart cannot be achieved quickly.

Ideas:
1. Check to make sure these assumptions are accurate and that the affected
systems have not been wiped out by a natural disaster or some similar issue.
2. Add init/upstart/windows services/whatever Mac uses integration to tahoe.
3. Add watchdog features to tahoe. I.e. if node A can't see node B for,
say, an hour, node A will automatically send node B's admin an email.

Thanks,
Eric
