Folks:
I occasionally read the blogs of a few Sun leaders:
project manager for Solaris:
http://blogs.sun.com/jimgris/
architect of ZFS:
http://blogs.sun.com/bonwick/
some guy with lots of cool ideas:
http://blogs.sun.com/MortazaviBlog/
CEO:
http://blogs.sun.com/jonathan/
The Open Source Guy:
http://blogs.sun.com/webmink/
Jim Grisanzio the project manager in charge of open-sourcing Solaris,
so he speaks from experience:
"""
1. Move your own operations outside in stages.
2. Engage external people as insiders.
3. Build community and leadership
"""
In the interests of implementing the first of these three steps, I'm
trying to use the tahoe-dev (and possibly other public, archived,
conversational media such as a tahoe blog) instead of more private
media such as IM, private e-mail, and IRC.
Regards,
Zooko
