So anyway, as I was going to say, if you have at least K shares of
each file *in the same co-lo* where the lost share needs to be
recreated then you can do repair without paying for inter-co-lo
network usage.  It also means you can repair even if the other co-lo's
are all unreachable or have been crushed by Godzilla, etc.

Basically, it is yet another detail of a use case to add to
http://allmydata.org/trac/tahoe/wiki/ServerSelection . There, I've
done so.
