 attachment:393status5.dpatch contains a mostly-complete segmented
 downloader. It has only a few major regressions, and lacks tests. The new
 downloader is much prettier and more complete than the new uploader, which
 is much more of a hack and which I will probably rewrite after I'm done
 with the downloader.
