I can not comment on running Tahoe on a plug (because I'm actually new
here :) ) but I own a SheevaPlug myself.
The device works quite well, you can run a current debian on it and the
USB port handles disks quite well. I had one running as a NAS for a
while and had never problems from that side.
Also the crypto accelerator of the CPU is nice, but the last time I
checked the Linux Kernel only supported the CBC mode (which is has some
security flaws) but that might have been changed. Also there was an
implementation of LRW for generic accelerators on the kernel crypto list.
Although there exists some problems with the power supply, as I've
written in another mail, but AFAIK other similiar devices like the
GuruPlug use different supplies and aren't affected.
Also the GuruPlug has more external ports and internal 802.11b/g. I
guess today I'd buy that instead.
