I can see your point.
I also find it interesting that functionality can be hidden in GUI, you
don't always "see" what is going on. If you go to the "one-page
summary",

Hiding the app in a GUI makes it less secure for me. I can't see what
it's doing.

I agree, it's not the easiest of tools to implement. I have not tried
because of perceived difficulty either. And also partly because I have
not spent the time to learn it better or research more but that is my issue.

Agree with your point but then those that don't like command tools
shouldn't use the software, their choice.
