 I guess we can raise the lower bound to pycryptopp version 0.5.17-1+b1
 since that's what my Debian box was using when the test was failing. I
 don't know whether it is worth trying to determine the problem in
 pycryptopp…

 Anyway, thank you David-Sarah for making the commit
 095efbf7a5f8ee375a81136f87ba3943ec995fc6 that got us closer to the
 underlying cause :-)
