[volunteergrid2-l] some error

When I upgraded, the first thing I did was a deep-check, and received
errors, so I downgraded to 1.8.3, and figured that was okay since I didn't
upload any files after I upgraded to 1.9.0. I figure if you haven't
uploaded any files, it could be okay, but there might be issues if you have
uploaded files since upgrading to 1.9.0. I'm not 100% about this, so maybe
someone like Zooko, should chime in?
