Shawn's right. We should probably see if we can recruit more members before lowering the limit. Anyone have ideas of where we can advertise? Maybe I'll do some brain storming and see what I can come up with..

Well, we got five nodes in a couple of days. We have the promise of an impending node. I set up the wiki. Then the list went dark.

If our Phase 1 goal is going to be 20 nodes to get a mature grid, we're going to have to bring in more node owners.

Have we set the entry node size too large at 500 GB?

If we reduce out minimum node size to 100 GB then restrict each user to ~45GB of usage (based on the 7/7/15 configuration), will more people throw in? (We can leave the larger nodes online, but restrict our usage for future expansion.)

It's possible that's the issue, but I don't think so. We've yet to hear anyone say that 500 GB is more than they can do, and there have only been a couple of people who've posted here who haven't set up a node.

I think we just need to figure out how/where to advertise some more. I'll see what I can do.
