[volunteergrid2-l] Recruiting/evangelism

I've also registered for the wiki. Maybe an introduction page/link would be
a good start for beginners. I think it should be a short description of
what is contained in the other links. I believe it should be something
where someone could look at it for 20 seconds, and think "yes, this could be
for me, let me read more", or "this isn't what I want"..

So far it looks like the wiki is a collection of emails, which is all good,
but I believe casual users who are sort of interested, won't read all the
text to get a good overview of volunteergrid 2.

Does anyone else agree, or am I in left field here? If people feel we need
an introduction page, I can try to put something together in the next few
days.

Everyone: I suspected that others would contribute to the wiki. So far, no
one has created an account.

I have now.

I think I also have another member. His constraint is that he doesn't have
enough storage and can't afford more at the moment. I told him I'm planning
to replace one of my 500 GB drives with a 2 TB drive, so I'll give him the
500. I'm ordering the new drive today, so I should be able to give him the
old one no later than next week. That'll get us to six nodes.

Hey Brad: Any ETA on your node? Yours and the other guy's (you know him as
desert rat on UCC) will get us to seven.
