[volunteergrid2-l] Revisiting - Gateway round-robin

With the addition of 3 nodes over the last couple of weeks with a
couple more possible in the next month, I thought I'd toss out the
idea of the gateway round-robin idea we had discussed several months
ago.

I know that I find solutions to some problems after letting them
simmer on the 'back burner' for a few months. Brad, did any potential
solutions bubble up in the mean time?

Maybe we can write up the draft of this idea on the wiki so that the
new members and future members will have some foundation for this
discussion.
