[volunteergrid2-l] Thinking about a light-weight proxy solution

I've done some work with Squid in the past.  However, I have never 
compared the resource footprint of Squid vs. Apache.  I would be a bit 
surprised if Squid had a significantly smaller footprint then Apache. 
But that is just a gut feel more then anything.
